Too long has it been!!!

Bahhh so I haven't kept this very updated...but I guess I can use college as an excuse (even though my first term seemed somewhat relaxed :D)

But yea, a lot to update. I have finished my first term of college! It was easier than expected, and I absolutely love living in the dorms. I even enjoyed going to class (usually). I didn't expect college to be like this, and I'm glad! I got high A's in all my classes (105% in my 

math :P), and even won a ski trip in one of them!

I have been on winter break for quite some time now, and it has been amazingly relaxing. I was super excited when the first snow storm hit, and am amazed at how much has accumulated! It is around 12-14" at my house, which is crazy since we are only at about 300' of elevation. The snow, however, makes drifting quite easy and enjoyable in my car :D

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, and my family opens up our presents tom

orrow!!! I'm a little disappointed that we don't get to meet up with our extended family because of the weather, but it will still be awesome. I can't wait!

Week 1 (So Far)

So it is now Wednesday of my first week in college...

First off...HELL YEA THE BEAVER TICKETS WERE WORTH IT!!! For anyone who didn't see or hear about the game, OSU beat #1 ranked USC, and it was soooo amazing to watch history in the making.

Secondly...Classes are going pretty good. So far, they all seem ridiculously easy, but maybe (hopefully?) that will change. When it comes to school, I like intellectual challenge! All of my professors seem pretty cool, and all the classes have been really easy to find. I thought it would be hard to get from class to class in only 10 minutes, but I have only been late once, and that was because I wanted to finish my lunch sitting down haha.

Thirdly...The dorms are awesome. I feel like I'm in my own little city, as there are a ton of really nice people, almost everything I need is located in the building (including nom nom-alicious food :D), and I think I got the coolest dorm on the OSU campus! We have so much free stuff, and even a fun class reserved only to Weatherford (my dorm) residents! My room mate is really nice as well, and I think we get along nicely. I haven't gotten much sleep this week, either because of someone else's alarm, construction outside, temperature problems, etc, but either way, I am settling into the college lifestyle well.

Also...about the supposed freshman 15...I think I'm gonna be the opposite lol. From all this walking, to having less to eat, I think I will lose 15 if anything haha :P

That's about it for now. I still miss everyone in C-Town, and will be there this weekend!!!

College Lifeeeee

Gahhh wow. So I moved to Corvallis yesterday. Kinda crazy. idk how I feel...its weird...

I already miss all my friends and my house, but living in the dorm does have so sweet aspects.

I waited in line for 5 hours today for Beaver football tickets...crazy I know, hopefully it will be worth it!

But yea its kinda funny, but I almost feel like I have more room in my dorm...my bed is longer, which is a major plus (yea, I only have a twin bed at home haha), and the furniture is pretty cool, so much storage space lol.

BAH well I am über tired. idk what I'm gonna do today now that I'm no longer standing in line. Who knowsss! But yea, first impressions: total change, a little awkward, but exciting at the same time. More to come!

Ahhh life is good :D

In the past couple days, I have been getting more and more excited about college!!! I can't wait to move in.

In the past couple weeks, I have been seeing more and more of a lot of my friends as well, and it makes me sooooooo happy that all of these friendships that I thought were dying off are going no where! Ahhh I am sooooo joyfullllll :D

But yea. Other than that, our family sold two of our cars this week, and hopefully one more will go soon as well, so our house no longer looks like an used car lot! It's nice being able to park in the driveway again, and have room for my friends (those that drive at least lol) to have room to park in front of my house. Plus, we can use all of the money we can get for my brother and I's tuition!

Oh, and I am obsessed with Gossip Girl AND the OC, among the other shows that I was already obsessed with haha. ANDDDD Apple released the new software update today for the iPhone, and now my phone works like I imagined it would!!! Gahhh life is goooood...no wait, its GREAT haha. I hope college gets off to a great start! :D

Ahhhhh so today was amazing. I hung out with Hilary, Vicente, and Courtney...an amazing trio that I haven't seen practically all summer (cept Courtney lol) but yeaaa...it was great!!!! So many great memories remembered while making many more :D

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I just can't get over it haha I haven't been this happy in quite a while!!! Maybe it's just cuz I was kinda in a rut last week...who knows. But I hope this happiness lasts a while!

Oh and while I'm at it, I should probably get serious.....yes everyone, I have an addiction problem....

BUT IM NOT SEEKING TREATMENT BECAUSE MY DRUG OF CHOICE IS THE OC!!!!!!! GAHHHHHHH its one of the most epicly awesome shows ever and I can't believe I didn't watch beforeeeeeeeee! If you haven't seen it, buy or rent the DVD's and do so. ITS WORTH IT I promise :D

Yea...so my last post was a little depressing, huh? I guess that's what happens when I'm sleepless, bored, and a lil sad. Like I said in the poem, I was overreacting, and I feel a lil better now that I had some sleep. :D

3:14

3:14 in the morning,

Not an ounce of sleep obtained.

Why do I feel like this?

I'm bored...and can't sleep. That is probably the worst combinationnnnnn :(

Plus I've got some stuff on my mind...and therefor I think of it more because I don't have anything to take my mind off things. Bah...

On a side note, David Archuleta came out with his new single called "Crush" and it is pretty darn good IMO. It is currently my myspace song, so you should go check it out :D

I didn't want him to win American Idol and am glad he didn't but I can't deny that he has made some good music :)

The Mole

Ok, so tonight was the season finale of my favorite reality TV show: The Mole.

It is a freaking amazing show for so many reasons. If you haven't heard of it before, basically there are a bunch of people trying to win different competitions to earn money for the group. There is one secret person, however, who plays the part of "the Mole" who sabotages competitions to keep money away from the group. People then take a quiz, answering questions about who they think is the mole. The person that scores lowest on that quiz each week is eliminated. The person who gets the best score on the final quiz wins the money the group accumulated throughout the show.

So yea, it is freaking amazing. They had the show on a long time ago, like 2000, and then again a year later, and a couple of celebrity seasons, and then it went away for a long time, and people, myself included, thought it was canceled. Then this summer ABC announced they were bringing it back! I was so excited.

But yea back to tonight, the finale. It was pretty good, except that the person I suspected as the mole the entire time was the Mole. BAH! idk, I thought it was too obvious, but that's just me I guess. Either way, it was still freaking epic, but I was a little disappointed, because usually it is more of a surprise.

But yea, if they bring the show back again, you guys better watch it! It is amazinggggg. There's a reason there were versions of "The Mole" in over 40 different countries haha.

A very uneventful day :/

Hmm today is rather boring. Sure I got to get up early and look at a potential replacement car for my Mom, which was fun, but since I got up early for once, I am left with a free day from about the time I usually get up...

Now what do I do? Most of my friends are either gone or busy...Bah!

hmm I enjoy TV but I've already watched like an hour of it today and am bored of ittttt...

Surfing the web also gets rather boring...

I would go do something outside, but I'm still rather exhausted from getting up early, and I have no one to do stuff withhhhh...

Oh well I guess I'll just sit hear and write about my boredom.

Things are goin' pretty good right nowwwww :D

So almost all of my closest friends were in town this past week, and I got to hang out with them a lot!!! Sure, Chris and Willy just left, but I've got a lot planned in the meantime. Flugtag tomorrow!!! Ahh I'm not only excited to go see people make fools of themselves by jumping into the water with weird flying-devices, but I also get to meet a bunch of new people!

One negative thing though is that my replacement iPhone is broken as well :/

Seriously, I paid $299 and I can't get a freaking working phone??? BAH!

But yea, other than that, things are goin' great for little e-parch. I just spent all day with several different people, doing practically nothing but having fun in the process haha :D

I hope this great mood can last. It's been kind of a rarity lately, and I greatly enjoy it.

Bah!!!

No, I am not imitating a sheep, I am just exclaiming my new favorite expression. Bah!

It is a rather versatile expression, as it can be used in amazement, excitement, full of surprise, anger, disapproval, etc.

Right now, I would say it for lack of anything better to say. I feel apathetic, and rather tired, so BAH!

User whscubana on Urban Dictionary described it well: "a word used to express feelings of tiredness, boredom, or frustration."

I would have to disagree with that on a few terms though; I wouldn't consider it a word, as it doesn't really have a meaning. It is an expression. Also, that description just covers one small portion of that expressions extent.

However, his example of "bah" used in a sentance is quite amuzing: "Bah. I have a boring life AND I can't open a can with a conventional can opener."

This definition, courtesy of al describes how I feel now: "An expression of apathy stemming from frustration."

I know I was frustrated recently, and not for really any certain reason, but I am now just feeling apathetic.

But yea, I think thats about as much thought as I can give to my new expression of choice. Until I rant again, bah I tell you! BAH!!!!!!!1

Mondays...

Ugh. I have bowling league on Mondays.

It usually isn't that bad, but because my brother and dad are on vacation, I am going to be there alone with my neighbor.

Don't get me wrong, my neighbor is really nice, it's just rather awkward being there alone with him. But oh well, I don't really have any other options.

For now, though, I am enjoying an early dinner. My mom made this yummy thai curry, which is quite nom nom-alicious :D

I have a new addiction as well: Grand Theft Auto IV

Yes, it is a rather crude game, but that's not what I love about it. It has a quite interesting story, never-ending city driving, and several cars you can drive. But yea, it's quite entertaining.

The Magic That Is Sleep :D

Well I freakin' love sleep. Not only was I well rested this morning, but it delt with my bad emotions like a child shaking an etch-a-sketch :P

I have so much to do this summer, and its already basically half over :/ However it has been quite fun. I didn't know spending this much time with friends was possible haha.

I do, however, need to go shopping for more dorm stuff, read a few books, and catch up on some TV shows (ok, so I don't NEED to do that, but why not, you know?). 

I started with the dorm stuff today. At first I was rather depressed about the end of high school, but I am now excited for college, and the whole dorm furnishing experience only fuels this emotion :D
