Blahhh

Well I kinda forgot about blogging...I have been quite busy lately, though, so I probably couldn't have updated much anyways.

However, a lot has happened! I finished my first year at OSU (barely)! Of course, I had to get sicker than I have ever been before right before finals...but luckily I still passed all of my

classes. Overall, I greatly enjoyed my first year, and hope to have an even better (and much less sick) year next year!

So far, I have been quite busy this Summer. I completely re-did my room

, and it is amazing! I fit my awesome leather couch that I had in my dorm in my room somehow, and it fits well. I also got an über cheap entertainment center from IKEA that barely fit, and suits my TV well. After allll the cleaning and rearranging, however, I had a tonnnn of crap left over, and decided I needed to do a garage sale...sooo my Mom and I have been endlessly cleaning every inch of our house to find stuff to get rid of. Now it is mostly sorted and priced, just waiting to be sold the weekend after next (COME BUY STUFF!!! :D) Here are some pictures of me epic room :D

Also, I upgraded to the iPhone 3GS (And actually made $25 bucks off the deal, cuz I sold my old phone for $325 :P), as well as just got a new MacBook. I did the whole Apple school deal, which got me $100 off of the computer, plus a free iPod and printer (after rebate, of course =/). Now I am nearly $1000 in debt to US bank, but after the rebates, and after selling the iPod and printer (anyone want them?), that should be significantly less.

Now, I need to find a freaking job! I'm thinking of maybe doing photography for money if possible, because I love it, and am actually getting pretty good at it. If anyone knows anyone looking for senior portraits, or really pictures taken for anything, let me know (It'll be hella cheap :D).

That is pretty much all for now...I'll try to update more often!

It's Surprisingly Good to be Back :D

AHHHH today was pretty much amazing. Although classes started again, they went pretty well.

I went to my first class, Math 252, at 10am, and the teacher seems OK, kinda tough but manageable. Then I had Physics 211, which I'm really excited about. Yea, I know, Physics. Everyone always says it sucks, but you know what? I'm looking forward to it. I did great in Robinette's class at CHS, so I'm feeling confident about the material. Plus, after today, it seems like my Physics professor is gonna be one of the best teachers at OSU :D

Then I had a nice break for 3 hours; enough time to have some lunch and chill. After that came Writing 121, another class I'm oddly looking forward to...Call me crazy, but I've been waiting to put my Humanities skills to the test :P

And finally I had ECE 271...sure the teacher isn't the greatest, but it seems like an OK class, and it got let out 30 min early, so I didn't complain.

After that I hung out all night with Jeff and Tylee. After getting some lunch, we sat down and enjoyed some Gossip Girl, and then went on the most epic bike ride! We rode for a good 2.5 hours, and it was quite exhilerating. I would try and escape from them with quick, sudden maneuvers, only to be caught a few miutes later. Towards the end, however, I was finally able to slip away for about 5 min before they caught me :P

All in all, this has been an awesome start to Spring Term. And to top it off, I DON'T HAVE CLASSES TOMORROW :D I would normally have my 3 hour Physics lab on Tuesdays, but it isn't happening the first week. Hehehe.....

But yea, that is all for now! YAYY :D

Mobile Blogging? I hope so!

Hmm well I'm trying out this email-to-blog thing so I can update this
thing from my phone...if it works maybe I'll actually keep it up to
date!

But yea not too much new to reportttt. I found out a few minutes ago
that I got 76% on my second Math 231 midterm, which is actually
surprisingly good cuz I reallly thought I failed it haha... but yea
that class is rediculous. I'm glad it's almost over with. But yea haha
it's full of super nerdy people... I don't mean to be rude, but yea
haha...here's a picture I took of them in class haha...one kid is on
his laptop playing a game and the others are like way too excited to
be watching it haha...oh well I guess that's what I get for being a
computer engineering major :P

Done?

Mmk so I just finished my last midterm...finally...

Probably failed it...oh well! Too late now. At least it is over.

Now I get the rest of the week and the weekend...and then it is dead week! YAY more studying.

Life is great...NOT =/

But yea, at least I have a life for the next 4 days
. I think I'm gonna fix up my car a bit with some new lights (sounds lame, I know...but I'm excited for it, OK?). Maybe I'll hang out with my friends, if they remember me haha since it has been so long...Maybe some TV? That is always good...definitly need to catch up on American Idol before the results tonight! Haha.

But yea...I'M DONE!!!(kinda)

One more week of classes, and then finals, and t
hen I can leave this shitty term behind me. :D

YAY American Idol...cept its pretty much over in my mind...gonna come down to these two I bet, cuz they are the only good ones :P

What? Time? What is that? Oh and what is having a life?

BAHHHHHH

School pretty much sucks. I have NO time. My life consists of getting up, showering, leaving the dorm sometime between 8 and 10 am, going to class, studying/doing homework, and then whatever little time is left is sleeping...SERIOUSLY. I have NO life.

AND to top it off...my classes AND their teachers were terrible this term. No joke, I only had one decent teacher, and a few good T.A.s that ended up teaching what the supposed "teacher" failed to do. I had 9 FUCKING MIDTERMS, the last two being THIS WEEK. Yes, WEEK 9 of 10. Since when is week 9 of 10 "mid"? BAH hooray I get one week of break and then its finals!!! YAYYYYYYYY

But thank goodness the term is almost over...I'm going to be extra careful in selecting my teachers and classes next term. I'm gonna use ratemyprofessor.com or w/e it is to make sure I don't have anymore shitty ones.

Other than that, there isn't anything else to report, because school is my life, remember? Oh except for the fact I got a speeding ticket a few weeks ago...just what I needed to get on what little free time I had >:(

Oh well...Things are looking better down the road maybe? I hope.

New term, new experience...

Bah. Soooo yea. It was just last term. College is no longer easy =/

I kinda suspected it since everyone says it isn't, but hey, it still was surprising. I guess taking two math classes in one term could be one factor...

It seems a lot like high school all over again. Don't get my wrong, I loved high school, but the one thing I hated about it was all of the busy work. I have soooo much stupid homework that I have to turn in for credit now...It seems like my life IS homework. And we do group work, and take quizzes, then pass them to the front. I'M PAYING FOR COLLEGE NOT HIGH SCHOOL. I am mature enough to keep up on my learning...you don't HAVE to make us turn in shit! BAH.....plus my CS161 professor is a joke. She is such a bad teacher, and her voice is annoying to boot. I actually learned the class material from one of her TAs, and luckily he was freaking amazing, or else I would have failed the class already. Oh, and did I mention I have a midterm already? NEXT WEEK, aka the 3rd week of a 10 week term? Doesn't seem very "mid" to me...W/E.

Anyways...I do like my schedule more (kinda). I have an even 3 classes a day (at least one math everyday =/) and breaks between classes for the most part, so the day seems short and easy. But then it is just homework the rest of night.

As for the good, I did finally bring my bike down to OSU, which makes getting to class on time more of a reality (most of the time haha :P). I also have pretty much an identical schedule to Tylee, so I always have someone to bounce ideas off of for homework. And I'm home for this three-day weekend, so hopefully I can chill with my long-lost Clackamas friends!!!

Oh, and.....BUSH HAS 2 DAYS LEFT IN OFFICE :D

Maybe our country can finally get itself out of the shit hole "Dubya" buried us in :P

Too long has it been!!!

Bahhh so I haven't kept this very updated...but I guess I can use college as an excuse (even though my first term seemed somewhat relaxed :D)

But yea, a lot to update. I have finished my first term of college! It was easier than expected, and I absolutely love living in the dorms. I even enjoyed going to class (usually). I didn't expect college to be like this, and I'm glad! I got high A's in all my classes (105% in my
math :P), and even won a ski trip in one of them!

I have been on winter break for quite some time now, and it has been amazingly relaxing. I was super excited when the first snow storm hit, and am amazed at how much has accumulated! It is around 12-14" at my house, which is crazy since we are only at about 300' of elevation. The snow, however, makes drifting quite easy and enjoyable in my car :D

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, and my family opens up our presents tom
orrow!!! I'm a little disappointed that we don't get to meet up with our extended family because of the weather, but it will still be awesome. I can't wait!

I think that is all for now, I'll try to keep this updated more often! Here's a picture of the epic drifting the snow allows :D

Week 1 (So Far)

So it is now Wednesday of my first week in college...

First off...HELL YEA THE BEAVER TICKETS WERE WORTH IT!!! For anyone who didn't see or hear about the game, OSU beat #1 ranked USC, and it was soooo amazing to watch history in the making.

Secondly...Classes are going pretty good. So far, they all seem ridiculously easy, but maybe (hopefully?) that will change. When it comes to school, I like intellectual challenge! All of my professors seem pretty cool, and all the classes have been really easy to find. I thought it would be hard to get from class to class in only 10 minutes, but I have only been late once, and that was because I wanted to finish my lunch sitting down haha.

Thirdly...The dorms are awesome. I feel like I'm in my own little city, as there are a ton of really nice people, almost everything I need is located in the building (including nom nom-alicious food :D), and I think I got the coolest dorm on the OSU campus! We have so much free stuff, and even a fun class reserved only to Weatherford (my dorm) residents! My room mate is really nice as well, and I think we get along nicely. I haven't gotten much sleep this week, either because of someone else's alarm, construction outside, temperature problems, etc, but either way, I am settling into the college lifestyle well.

Also...about the supposed freshman 15...I think I'm gonna be the opposite lol. From all this walking, to having less to eat, I think I will lose 15 if anything haha :P

That's about it for now. I still miss everyone in C-Town, and will be there this weekend!!!
